Gus Casely-Hayford, OBE, is a British curator, cultural historian and broadcaster with Ghanaian roots. His series have appeared on Sky TV and BBC Earth.
He currently serves as Director of the Smithsonian National Museum of African Art in Washington, D.C. He was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in June 2018 for his services to Arts and Culture.
He received a PhD in African History from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London University.
